Ultrasound-Guided biopsy is a procedure in which the physician uses a syringe to remove cells from a suspicious area. Ultrasound is used to navigate the syringe into the appropriate area.
Reasons for the Procedure
- Samples of tissue or fluid removed through ultrasound-guided biopsy are tested to help determine diagnoses of illness.
